Chanca piedra, which means "stone breaker" in Spanish, is a small herb. Both Phyllanthus Niruri and P. Amarus have been called chanca piedra. In this supplement we have the Phyllanthus Niruri; This botanical is a long-standing favorite in South America where is has been empirically selected for its effectiveness over many generations.
Chanca piedra has traditionally been used for kidneys stones as chanca piedra contains chemicals that might relieve spasms and increase urine. It is also thought to have activity against bacteria and viruses.
It is also used for hepatitis B, stomach pain asthma, diabetes, and other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these other uses.
Suggested use
Use 15 drops once a day in water or as recommended by a health care practitioner.
