Blue lotus  is also referred to as Blue Egyptian Lotus, Blue Egyptian Water Lily, or Sacred Blue Lily, Overall, they do have similar benefits.  

 Blue lotus is believed to have a calming effect on the body and the nervous system. This helps to reduce anxiety and provides a calming effect.  

Blue lotus tea contains the compounds nuciferine and aporphine. Both of these properties provide antispasmodic effects. These calming effects may also contribute towards a reduction in gastrointestinal issues such as indigestion.

  • Red Clover - has been found to contain estrogen mimicking flavonoids, known as phytoestrogens these substances can contribute to maintaining normal estrogen levels during the menopause. Helping to reduce hot flushes and night sweats.

     Black Cohosh - thought to have brain related action such as modulation of serotenergic pathways. It is thought to alleviate symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, anxiety and mood swings, headaches, vaginal dryness and mental fog.

  • Licorice Root - only a small sprinkling of this! Know for its antidepressant qualities as it contains 8 different compounds known as MOA ( monoamine oxidase) inhibitors. It is an adaptogen which helps the body to manage the stress hormone cortisol more efficiently.
  • Lions Mane  - Known for its neuroprotective properties and has also been shown to improve mild cognitive impairment. Estrogen is the master regulator for ensuring the brain works as it should. This mushroom protects both the brain and has anti-inflammatory properties.
