Algae oil provides an excellent source of those essential omega-3 fatty acids suitable for people following a vegetarian or vegan diet. For our vegan omega-3 capsules, we use natural oil from Schizochytrium sp. algae. It contains both docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), the two physiologically most relevant forms of omega 3s. One capsule contains 480 mg of this high-quality algae oil, providing 150 mg DHA and 75 mg EPA.
