Happy Bum Beans are an organic, medium roasted blend that has been specifically roasted for enema use. It is extremely gentle on the gut for even the most sensitive users. Our Happy Bum Beans are a blend of Ethiopian and PNG higher altitude coffee. Research shows that these traditionally have a higher palmitic acid content of 40.4-46.4% whereas coffee from other regions was found to have an average palmitic acid of 31-35%.
Each batch of our coffee is individually tested for mycotoxins. The most common mycotoxins found in coffee are Aflatoxin B1 and Ochratoxin A. These are both known carcinogens that have been found to cause damage to the kidneys and liver.
How to use Happy Bum Beans:
Bring 600ml (2.5 cups) of filtered water to the boil in a kettle or saucepan.
Add 2 tbsp of ground coffee to a coffee plunger and pour boiling water over
Let stand for 10 minutes.
Plunge using the Happy Bum Co Plunger to strain the coffee and let cool to body temperature.
Pour into your Happy Bum Bag and use as directed.
If you are short on time, you can add some more (purified) cold water, or ice cubes to speed up the process.
