Ashwaghanda (Withania Somnifera), also known as Indian ginseng, has been highly valued as an adaptogen in Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years for treating hypothyroidism. Somnifera is Latin and translates to “sleep-inducing”, which is an indication of one of its main properties. The plant contains numerous active ingredients, with withanolides being the most important ones that have also been subject of several clinical studies.
We chose a high-quality ashwagandha powder from controlled organic cultivation in India. Moreover, this ashwaganda products contains at least 2% withanolides.

The recommended daily intake for powder is 3g (1 teaspoon). Add to tea, other hot beverages, or smoothies. If you use it once a day, then we recommend evenings.
