Folate is the natural form of vitamin B9 and is found in many foods. It contributes to the formation of DNA and RNA and is involved in protein metabolism. Folate is also needed for the formation of red blood cells and is important during times of rapid growth, such as during pregnancy and fetal development.

We have chosen the bioactive branded substance Quatrefolic® with pure L-5-MTHF. The folic acid used in many products is a synthetic active ingredient that does not occur naturally and therefore cannot be used directly by the body. The optimal, biologically active form of folate is L-methylfolate, which is bound to glucosamine in Quatrefolic®. This improves stability and shelf life and makes our patented product one of the most effective forms of L-methylfolate.

One capsule contains 400 μg folate. Our product is free of additives, non-GMO and vegan.
